In case you’re feeling dreamy? Determined? In rebellion mode? “The Unknown” has a single for every mood. Who will you be today ?
Well… you aren’t dreaming, we are in 2021… The Metal sound is on constant evolution..
Many bands of this new generation are no longer musically influenced by Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Metallica, Iron Maiden etc… We are at the dawn of the main artistic influences from the year 2000, those of Nightwish, Whithin Temptation, Evanescense, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Fergi…
Very effective for the programming of radio stations #vinylestimes, the album “The Unknown” contains singles to sound on stage and especially give energy !!
To understand the production of the album “The Unknown”, the band enlisted the services of mega US producers such as Howard Benson (Skillet, Halestorm, Seether, Black Stone Cherry), Mike Plotnikoff who worked with (Bob Rock, Mutt Lange, Van Halen, Aerosmith, The Cranberries, INXS, Kiss) & Neil Sanderson (Three Days Grace) made each song the best it can be;
Working on this kind of project and getting the songs right, the band needed a European answer: Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Volbeat, Pretty Maids), took care of the mixing and mastering #Viral #Boom !
The Edge of Paradise offer catchy, accessible and memorable tracks than other bands, especially with the choice of the first 3 singles available on social networks “Digital Paradise” declining rhythms and colorful atmospheres, the second one “My Method Your Madness” very modern with the spirit of Shinedown visually, but also the recent release of the bewitching track “The Unknown” considerably rich in emotions.

To find the right words to talk about the rest of the album “The Unknown”, two other tracks caught my attention: on the heavy side of Tidal Wave & Believe that hovers around the vocal entity of Kate Bush, these two tracks contain very good surprises.
They gather a perfect introduction to young people wishing to discover the new Metal sounds 2021 / 2022.
For the future, I would see a duet with Adam Gontier… What do you think about it ?
